Based on the awareness and the duties and responsibilities together, intending to unite themselves in the only place the organization at the national level and is a cooperative forum for improving and developing the potential of making itself as a partner in the Government, as well as other private sector a number of Entrepreneur Franchise Company (Franchisor) namely: PT. Trim's Mustika Citra, Es Teler 77, Widyaloka, Nilasari and Homes 21 represents the Franchisor in Indonesia on 22 November 1991 have agreed to establish the only Franchise Company Organization container (Franchisor) in Indonesia, named Indonesian Franchise Association (AFI).
Before the establishment of the AFI, the originator of this idea has been coordinating with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Indonesia, the ILO (International Labour Organization), and the Institute of Management IPPM. Here are some list of franchises that are listed in Indonesia (please select and click for more info): McDonald's, Pizza Hut, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Tiki JNE, Indomaret, Alfamart, Rice Bowl, Papa Ron's Pizza, Mister Baso.
